Does anybody else think they made Berry feel more like a Peter Parker character?

The Flash I know is way different then the one portrayed in the show.

Well, he's not actually the flash yet. If you remember when wells killed the one guy, he referenced that he'll be known as the flash. Right now he's just a kid with metahuman abilities and a flashy suit. This is an origin story.

is 700mph the fastest he can go? Thats pretty sad... I thought he was able to go light speed or at least a lot faster, you dont name someone flash by traveling airplane speeds.

Wondering if he actually can go faster? And will it be portrayed in the show

iirc, in the comics he's able to move so quickly he can turn invisible or travel through solid objects. maybe he needs to learn how to use the Speed Force still

barry allen couldn't do the things wally west could. wally had a direct connection to the speed force due to his going into it and returning

In the comics Barry Allen could travel so fast he could travel thorugh time, he was also a nerd who was charming and frequently late. They are actually doing a decent job at portraying him and i like it better then arrow so far.

The lightning he saw was himself back in time trying to save his mom, but realised that if he did save it the whole DC world would be in a parallel universe example: Bruce wayne would of gotten shot and his dad would be batman and his mom went crazy and becomes the joker. So he didnt save his mom. The treadmill in episode 2 was the same one he uses to time travel.

Yay for the flashpoint arc. Don't know if they're going to completely follow it though.
