Was going to say that's pretty much a staple of the flash mythos, haha.
Solid episode. Wells says he's protecting barry but I don't know. The newspaper from the future pretty much outlined the crisis on infinite earths, that's straight out of the comic. Now I know we won't see an infinite earths storyline due to the structure of the DC universe with movie rights and all... but damn it would be nice though, right? DC comics had the potential to rival the marvel cinematic universe but they keep half assing it. Putting out a solid story but not putting any linking stories.

what's up with the wells guy btw? is he a good or a bad guy?

Anyone else has the ''Freak of the week'' vibe from smallville?

Instead of krpytonyte affecting people, it was the ''accident''.

It's not negative or anything, still enjoy it, but the formula seems too familiar, hope it gets it's identity soon.

pretty much freak of the week with a little character development of Barry.

hopefully, the true purpose of Wells will be slowly revealing

Wells is definitely from the future, at the end of episode 2, he said to tat old man, "that man in the red mask is called the flash, at lleast he will be".

he seems to know alot about the flash, like his symptons and wats wrong wit him, etc...

When you're dealing with single superhero shows, it's hard to just make them "fight crime" vs normal humans. There's never really going to be anything hard. But yea, it feels like villain of the week. Still enjoyable tho.

i think what he meant was he wants more of the story to be based on a season arc. instead of just the last few min. slowly building a team, discovering new abilities, facing a common villain / conspiracy, that kind of thing.

He needs some gadgets otherwise he runs there to get his ass kicked then runs out later to run back in then win. The show is okay for now.

everything is a smallville 2.0 tbh... even the iris-inspector's partner-barry love triangle is a duplicate of lana-whitney-clark.

Yeah I guess. But Barry grew up with Iris... She's almost his sister. I still find it weird.

They're putting a wrench in that live triangle, if you noticed the season preview, it has felicity and barry kissing. Also. the character iris is supposed to be his fiancee.
