You are looking to far into this man. With the whole Bran controlling Arya and he’s the final villain. That’s clearly not happening here. GoT went so easy on us for that battle and night king death. They are definitely gearing towards the simple minded consumer.

Everyone one Facebook I saw last night was posting how much they loved it. And that it was the best episode ever etc etc. these are also the same people who think Marvel movies and the Avengers are the best movies ever.

GoT is gonna give us a ‘happy ending’, and I think it’s obvious now. And it’s unfortunate, cause that’s not how it should be.

the plot armour was fucking nauseating, they could have at least tried to write a believable way for jaime, brienne, and sam to survive, same with the survivors in the crypt

also whats the point of showing us the white walker bosses that sam killed and jon killed when we dont even get to see them in action at all in the big battle so fkin lame

also i get that the army of the dead is basicly so huge that it swarms the fk out of you

but making almost 70% of the action so fast and shot in such dark scenes that u can barely enjoy it like com on


those are minor things that could've made this episode just 10x better

You guys can wipe your ass with the show all you want but I fucking loved episode three. Fuckin' amazing. The real question is how are they going to survive now? No army to fight for them. What will Cersei do? Lyanna Mormont really fucking killed it. I had higher hopes for that girl throughout the season. She was tough as nails. Wish she could have lived to see the last episode.

I know you're right, which is why I led that post by mentioning the first stage of grief.

What really irks me is that GoT built its popularity on its ability to use our expectations of plot armor against us. Ned/Robb/Oberyn symbolized what this show was all about.

And then at the end, they completely reverse what type of show this is. S8E3 might as well have been a long musical number. That would have been equally surprising.

How fucking big is Winterfell? Where all those soldiers hiding? Maybe Theons people kill the uncle (terrible with names) and they fight for winterfell? Maybe the Lord of Light brings back everyone? I mean essentially the Night King and Lord of Light are polar opposites. It’s already established that the LoT can resurrect people. Maybe? Maybe Dorn steps in and fucks shit up? IDK I didn’t watch the trailer but I am exhausted and my mind is going a mile a minute.

Still can’t believe they killed off Lyanna Mormont. I haven’t read the books so I don’t know if there is a backstory for her but she was one of the more interesting sub-characters.

her death was so cheesy, why the fuk would the giant slowly lift her up to its face instead of just killing her like it did to everyone else?

im glad she died though, along with the other retards who thought it was a good idea for a 50lb noble girl to join the battle



im also disappointed that the other white walkers didn't join the fray, seems like they served no purpose at all except to let us know that all of them died along with the night king

also i feel like they just wanted the army of the dead part of the story to just end because they have no clue what more they can do with it they built it up to be something insane just to end like this kinda lame
