horrid actting 0/10

The first two Resident Evil movies were okay. It turned into a complete shit show after that.

Calling the second good is a bit of a stretch. The first was the only one that incorporated horror elements (that thing that made RE great), but the franchise was guaranteed shit once they decided to super power Alice to Wesker level right from the word go.

There are moments that are enjoyable in the second film, but mostly comedic entertainment, like "my shit is custom". As a mindless action flick it's watchable, as a RE movie it's tough sale, and it doesn't hold up much, especially when Umbrella proves to be completely retarded. Shooting the doctor at the end because something he can create is more valuable than the creator, was some god fucking awful writing.

Still haven't gotten around to watching the new one, it's a tough sale for the wife, so probably have to watch it with headphones one night when she passes out early lol.

No movie has ever captured the feel of the game it’s based on as well as this. If you like the games it’s worth watching just for that

Nothing else about the movie is really remarkable, but nothing is glaringly wrong with it either

Some of the music they chose was really bad.

Apt description. At first I was pretty miffed about Leon and then I went back and replayed it a bit and the way they portrayed him wasn't too far off.

Well and no Barry or Rebecca. Oh and Mr. X. It needed Mr. X. I guess they felt Birkin covered the big bad angle.

it is a shame that there was no mr. x. I think he'd fit well into a movie

Second one is my favourite, idk if it still holds up, but I was like 10 when I first saw it and was shitting my pants and really enjoyed it
