movie is out, and its not as bad as the trailer at all

Getting roasted by purists, so many easter eggs. The horror element is much better this time around.

So just finished it. Combines some elements of RE 1 and RE 2. No Mr. X or Barry, Ada is only in one scene mid credits, only one real puzzle (piano), the CGI wasn't consistent, one moment it's cool, next it's bad. But other than that, it had a lot of elements from the game. They set up a sequel with code veronica, hope it gets it just to see how they do that

I see this movie getting a lot of hate online but personally I thought it was pretty cool. I enjoyed the movie all the way through. But I also enjoyed the other RE movies with Alice. I'm actually going to rewatch them now since I just finished watching Welcome To Raccoon City. And I know that their not related and that's my only gripe :'( if I didn't hate video games I'd play through all the RE games just for the story..

I actually really want to see this, looks so much better than previous RE entries.

Maybe I'll get around to it this weekend.

the 2002 mila version is way better then this hot garbage, it actually has a better story following alice storyline. this version is a dumpster fire mess, I can play the game and get more action/joy out of it then this crap.

I actually enjoyed it. Probably would've been better as two separate movies or a miniseries, but they definitely captured the feel of the games a lot better than the Mila Jovovich ones.

Nothing award winning but entertaining if you're a fan of the games. Like I said would've been better if there had more time to explore some of the set pieces a bit better. Also Leon didn't get the development he deserved. There was actually essentially zero character development but what can you do.

Maybe if it was a shorter series, not really interested in yet another zombie tv series.

Not what I was expecting, but I'll give it another watch at some point
