Scanners 1 - 3

First one is pretty good.
Second one sucks.
Third one is so bad that it's actually enjoyable to watch.

Doom Annihilation

Low budget, bad actors, boring action, terrible special effects. It sucks.

I couldn't believe how bad that Doom movie was... so much worse than I anticipated and I had no hopes for it to begin with.

Yeah it's horrible.
I liked the first one, just some fun cheesy action but is just a waste of time.

Why give it the Doom Title anyway. It's just a generic direct to VHS action movie.
They even fucked up the BFG. Felt more like a green water pistol.

Monster's Ball (2001)

starring Halle Berry, Billy Bob Thornton, and Heath Ledger

I've never seen this movie before, so I'm shocked at what a gem it was and really glad that I watched it. It was really good despite the really awkward ending that left me hanging, felt like. Halle Berry won an award for her role in this film. Heath Ledger's role in this film was sadly pretty short but he did an outstanding job. Billy Bob was really great also. Highly recommend.

Blade Runner 2049

First off I’m kicking myself for not seeing it in theaters. I saw a digital rip on a not too great monitor and there were some extremely grainy bits throughout that annoyed the hell out of me.

I feel like this one was a little long. The Goose was good for sure and I definitely felt for his character throughout the film but didn’t really give a shit about any other characters. His relationship with the AI definitely reminded me of Her, even using the way they use a third party to express a physical connection. The actress who played the AI was fucking gorgeous, as an aside.

The setting where Ford is introduced was pretty awesome but I feel like his role in the movie overall was kind of weak.

I’ll have to watch this one again. Overall I wouldn’t say it lived up to the hype, with the exception of appearance which was pretty fucking amazing.

Killing Them Softly

I’ll have to watch this one again. Can’t decide if it was terrible or amazing. One of the two lol.
