Had my last exam yesterday, finally some time to watch movies

Flight of the Navigator
Pretty good family entertainment. It oozes the typical 80's charme. Not as good as some other 80s classics but still worth watching

The Man who would be King
Liked it. Entertaining adventure movie with some good humor in it. Acting felt a bit stiff from time to time but had a good time with it. Beautiful scenery.

Now I popped in The Mission, set up my speakers to maximum volume to enjoy the glorious soundtrack of master Ennio Morricone.

The Lost City of Z

Liked it, well filmed and the actors did a good job. The scenerey was perfectly captured and the movie in general looked pretty good (maybe a bit too dark). The only problem I had with it that it's too long. It gets boring from time to time without anything interesting happening. Could have made a good 90-100 min. long movie, 2,5h was just too much.

The Belko Experiment

You pretty much get what you would expect after reading the plot synopsis. Starts a bit slow but gets better as time goes on. You probably have to be in the right mood to enjoy it, it's pretty corny. Ohh yeah, the acting was horrible in this one.

47 Meters Down

Tons of inconsistencies, but decent entertainment value.

Guardians
Never heard such horrible one liners and seen so many failed attempts trying to be funny. But, for what it tries to be it works. Just like any other Marvel movie, mindless explosions.

A Cure for Wellness
Gorgeous looking movie, beautiful cinematography, and nicely captured the scenery of Switzerland. But it should have ended 30 min. earlier. It just gets way too preposterous and grotesque, almost ruined it for me.

Last for the day: Nocturnal Animals

Stated incredible good but got a bit weaker as time went on. Still a fantastic movie.

If that lol. Definitely very little attention on something a movie is supposed to be about.
