Let's face it, probably most storys suck in horror movies but I loved the idea of it follows. It just keeps you on your toes, never knowing if the person you have fucked is already dead or not.
You always keep an eye out on the backround, never knowing if the person who approaches you is just a stranger or "it". It mostly avoids jump scares, which is necessary for an atmospheric horror movie or horror movies in general.
The soundtrack from Disasterpeace also blew me away. It creates an atmosphere which you haven't experienced bevore.
It has a perfect ending. After showing it to some friends, and rewatching it for the 3rd-4th time, we had a nice discussion about the interpretation of the ending sequence.

I personally loved it, it's my favorite modern horror movie. There are far too little atmospheric horror movies nowadays and I had a blast with It Follows.

Honestly i didnt even fishing watching it, i got so bored that last 20 min or so was just playing in the background while i went on my computer. Even if ending was good I doubt that would have changed my mind about this film

Very well made film, atmosphere and acting is spot on but it felt like a lot of scenes dragged for way longer than they should have had. Good watch overall

Hugoong: Jewangui Chub (aka The Concubine) (2012)

It's a bit of a b-movie with subpar acting, props and decoration, etc (movie is set in the royal palace in feudal Korea). The story isn't all that special either. Cinematography was pretty decent though at times, and overall the movie's plot picks up during the second half of the 120 minutes of film. Entertaining stuff overall, but still not something you can call a good movie.
