The Adventure of Tintin glorified alcohol abuse

Well the drug usage didn't offend me since the movie is about counterculture hippies. In the making of documentary they even said, that they were on drugs all the time, smoked real pot while the camera was rolling and just took the footage. Dennis Hopper even said that he bought 2 pounds of weed just for consumption during the production. Someone even wanted to bring his own coke for the opening drug dealing scene
Just different times in which drug usage was part of the daily life.

Saw "the shack" (i think is the name).

The one about a guy who goes to talk to God after his kid is killed.

It's not that bad. I personally didn't feel like the religious aspect was heavy handed. Obviously it was there, but it wasn't like telling at you to believe in God.

It was well acted and overall had a good message, even if you take off the religious skin the message is still valid.

Only God Forgives
Visually stunning, delivers a good atmosphere and is just beautifully shot. I am a sucker for Winding Refn movies and it's no surprise that I liked this one too. Not his best work but it feels like something special/different. Now I need to read some story interpretations ^^

Wonder Woman

It's a really good and enjoyable movie.

Feels like its been forever since a superhero movie had the hero actually helping people and that was basically the focus of this movie.

Shin Godzilla
Pretty good, Godzilla looked awesome and I liked the focus on the science stuff and politics.

If it's somehow possible get the commentary track with Arnold and Milius. They get together after a few years, are probably drunk as shit and just watch the movie. Highly entertaining.
