The second season was disappointing.

I thought it was pretty good, but not anything great. I’d give it a 7/10.

Geralt & Jaskier were fantastic, but pretty much everyone else consistently got on my nerves in some shape or fashion though

I’m liking it so far. The first season took a minute for me to realize what was going on because of all the bouncing around but so far it’s pretty good.

Think this will be the next show that my gf and i start watching. Heard amazing things so im really looking forward to it.

Not gonna read the topic to avoid any spoilers until after but ill read quotes from anyone on the subject in terms of the show overall.

Also wanna throw it out that I've not had the chance to play any of the games yet.

The witcher 3 is one of the best rpgs ever made, I can’t recommend it enough

Has nothing to do with the games, so don't worry. It's based on the book series.

As someone who comes from the books, this show is not great imo. Feels overly rushed, the world feels tiny, like you can just get anywhere in an instance. Characters have not had their personalities flushed out, side characters have not had anytime to shine like they do in the books. My memory might be a bit bad but from what I remember in the books there was significant travel time from place to place with lots of interaction on the way and time to flush out characters.

If they mess up Regis in the future ill be real sad.

The world building for a fantasy show driven by a novel is awful.

yea, the more I read about reactions, the more I see a divide between book-readers hating it and non-readers liking it.

They really butchered it when they cast a flat chested Triss. The rest is forgivable.
