I mean that's basically her entire characters only thing. Everything about her is having the qualities of a knight but not being a knight cuz woman. The only other aspects of her character is the fan shipping of her and Jamie, which isn't actually real in the show and Tormund wanting to fuck her. If you don't think Tyrion is a much more complicated character than Brianne then idk what to say.
I mostly agree with this but I wanna frame it in a different way. I think Brienne has 2 arcs.
The deeper arc starts with the story she tells about when when Renley danced with her and treated her well at the box social when the other guys wouldn't. This arc is the "I want to be a lady but I can't, so I guess I'll be a fighter instead"
The outer arc starts from the story about when Randyll Tarly's soldiers were taking bets about her virginity. This arc is "not only am I going to be a fighter but I'm going to be the best one so I kick anyone's ass and no one will mess with me again"
The outer arc gets resolved in S8E2. She's reached the pinnacle of fighter status in the system she grew up in. A general in the queen's army. The best fighter she's ever known (Jaime) judging her worthy of the highest status he can grant. Becoming the only woman to break the gender barrier.
The deeper arc still needs an element of resolution. Luckily, there's enough screen time in S8E3 for us to see her get it. It's possible for her and Jaime to connect in a way that validates not only her ability to fight but also to be loved. And with that, she can die in S8E3 as Jaime's Nissa Nissa and fulfill her role in Jaime's arc (which of course is much larger than hers)
