Me i very appreciated Heath ledger joker and that will be verry hard for me to appreciate a new joker because heath have put the bar very high he was just the perfect joker . So after this being said ill let a chance to joaquin we will see .me i find the idea verry cool to make a movie about the joker story, its like the best supervillain of dc by far , ill watch the movie for sure

People have to stop comparing joker to joker. This is a completely different adaption and take on ‘The Joker’. Completely different universe and storyline.

Yep. Even Jack Nicholson's version from Tim Burton's Batman was a different take. That one, IMO, was an homage to the old Cesar Romero Joker from the old TV series, and meant to bridge the generation gap from the old to the newer, darker Joker. It had touches of darkness, but nothing like what Joker became in the comics. TBH, I don't know if audiences at that time would have accepted a purely psychopathic Joker as the very next representation on screen after the more comedic style of Romero.
