I do want to get a modernized gaming pc this year, but it’s not so urgent. Idk if I should go ahead and get it and not waste time, or if I should wait for the 4th gen ryzen to come out, though I have no idea how long that will take. Opinions?

yes now is the time to buy, he is right next gen is coming but unless you are dropping $1,000 to buy next gen upgrades then its useless to wait. Next gen doesnt mean last gen goes on sale. On that same note here is why you should buy now "Corona Virus". The Corona Virus has effected the sale of goods globally with china being one of there biggest markets because of this alot of businesses have realized they arent expected to hit there revenue forecast, which in turns means cheaper goods.
