Wait it’s 3$ to upgrade to windows 10 from 7?
I was told it was 200$ cuz my computers at work need to be upgraded and IT told the office it was 200$ lol
If you already happen to have your Windows 7 OEM key on the side of your computer and a USB Flash drive with 8GB of storage. You can even save yourself the $3.
1) On Microsofts website, download Microsofts "Windows 10 Media Creation" tool.
2) Download the 64-bit Windows 10 and choose the "save the ISO to hard drive" option.
3) Download Rufus and open it. Select browse ISO and choose the Windows 10 ISO you just downloaded and create the media and choose MBR and ISO image mode.
note: Do NOT choose DD image mode.
4) After the USB has been created, restart your PC and push F8 to get to the boot menu and select boot from USB.
note: Sometimes, it's the button may be F Key or the Del button.
5) Follow the Windows 10 installation instructions. When prompted for the Windows 10 Key, use your Windows 7 OEM key.note: Windows 10 Pro requires a Windows 7 Pro Key, Windows 10 Home requires a Windows 7 Home Key.
