imagine how much you could save and how much more overclocking headroom you'd have on a desktop, not to mention space for expansion. It's inferior in every way to a desktop with equivalent hardware except in the space it takes up. Batteries will drain down to 0 in minutes at full load so i don't understand why it needs to be in a laptop form factor unless space is a huge constraint, in which case money is probably better spent on a better abode than an overpriced desktop replacement.
/e not to mention how much more you could get if you just spent that same amount on a desktop, SLI 1080's gets smashed by 1080 ti's
You are completely right in that price : performance, desktop wins every time, but again to my main point is the portability. People who are on the road a lot for work, or just prefer to be more mobile. There is a large market for laptop gaming, hence why these kinds of laptops exist.
That being said, I would never personally buy one for gaming, but that's not the point of this thread. The OP wants suggestions of laptops for gaming, not for everyone to criticize his choice of form factor. Also just pointing out the fact that JohnQQMiller does nothing but troll in this subforum.
