So I made a comprehensive list out of possible CPU + GPU combos for me in my future rig and I was wondering which out of these combos you guys think would be the best for me?

I want to be able to play CS2 in 1920x1080 in atleast medium settings with MINIMUM of 300 constant frames, but definately do want more for that great placebo effect.
While CSGO seemed to be mostly CPU heavy, CS2 seems to be both CPU & GPU heavy meaning I'd have to have a great combo.

Right now I have a i5 7600K and a 1060 GTX which is far outdated, and I can barely play on 1024x768 on lowest settings yet struggling to reach 200fps.

So this is the list.

Quote
i7 10700K 3.8 GHz / EVGA
GeForce RTX 3070 8GB XC3 ULTRA

i5 14400f
NVIDIA RTX 4060 8GB VRAM

i5 12600KF
ZOTAC GeForce RTX 3070 Twin Edge

i7 9700K
RTX 3060Ti

i9-10850K CPU @ 3.60GHz
GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Ventus OC

i9 9900k
MSI Geforce RTX 2070 Ventus 8GB

i7 12700F
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6

i5 11400F 2.6 GHz, 12MB
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 12GB EAGLE OC 2.0

i7 9700K 4.9 GHz Turbo
Gigabyte 3070 8GB Aorus Master

i7 9700F
Geforce RTX 3060 MSI Ventus

All I'm asking for here is for you experts to do your job with all said above taken into consideration, and please also explain your reasoning as to why you picked it.
Thank you in advance.

Any reason why you need more than 144fps? Most monitors cannot display more than this so you’re essentially wasting money. You should shoot for a consistent frame rate rather than one higher than that

i7 12700F
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6

any of them will do 300 fps though pretty sure

but like mrsk said you need a monitor that supports that refresh rate at least

My monitor is 240hz.
And yeah even us "a little more than casual" cs players even when 144hz was the standard always wanted to go for 300-400 fps due to the sheer "feel" in csgo when having higher frames. Just makes everything smoother

But do you all agree with Jare above that i7 12700F + RTX 3070 would be the best bet for me?

Ah, then yeah definitely need something to get ~260 FPS atleast. That combo is probably a bit overkill(atleast the processor is) but it will futureproof if you decide to get a better monitor if it fits in your budget

Cool yeah. So for me these numbers of the CPU and GPU tell me close to nothing.
Out of those 10 listed.
Why would you say the i7 12700F + RTX 3070 is superior over the others and how would you rank the other 9?

Just so I have a basic insight

The i7-12700F is the fastest on this list, along with being more recent as well as being more energy efficient due to recent technology. I think they cut down on costs as well so it's pretty reasonable

RTX 3070 is also the fastest card from the list.

If you ever want to compare certain hardware pieces, you can always do a google search such as "i7-12700f vs i7-10700k" to get a general idea on how they do against each other. Try to avoid Userbenchmark though

Right. Most of the combos has 3070 as GPU but one even has 4060, the one that also has i5 14400f. Isn't that technically better or do I need to focus on getting the stronger CPU --> GPU?
Remember and keep in mind that all I'm looking for is strictly FPS in a Source 2 enginebased game (CS2).

1920x1080 (native resolution) with medium settings

Someone told me that this combo is the most superior one:

4060 is worse than a 3070. 4060 is more comparable to 3060s but they have more recent DLSS which is probably irrelevant to you.
Didn't see the i5 but that ones pretty comparable to the i7 if you dont need the extra cores. I heard CS2 is more GPU demanding but I believe CPU still matters more for frames in that game but it's pretty balanced now.
Did they say what was superior about it? The 12700F is basically superior in every way besides maybe cost which i'm not looking at, and having integrated graphics
