about to try PoE for the first time

It's not bad but I didn't think it was great either.

All you guys playing PoE is about 3 years late. That train came and left a long time ago.

In other news, I might play if they actually added new content besides cash shop skill effects.

Act 4 is coming out in a few months or so.

is it good though? i didn't play for very long when i tried it a few days ago. gonna play more this weekend.

It was alright. Funner if you have a constant group to play with and a decent solo build.

Was just boring because I ran through the acts like nothing when the game first came out because my build was OP at the time.

Essentially you ran around with 1 hp, all damage goes to shield, immune to chaos damage (which skips shield and goes straight to hp), then you just get all the shield % nodes.

From there youd just get shield regen stats on items and increased max shield. For pots you'd just get +resistance and +phys resistance since any time your shield gets low, you would just run around for a few seconds and it would regen back to full within a half second.

Ranged characters sucked though because if you kept getting hit your shield would never regen.
