I like the old days...buy a game and that's it. The money they make off the CD's or DVD's during the game sales, will pay for the servers. THIS will force devs to stop releasing this bugged, chapter like crap, they've been releasing. Blizzard did it with D2, so we know there's a model that works. Companies weren't happy with just making a million dollars, they wanted more.
I know it's sounds impossible, but it HAS been done before, no reason it can't still be done that way...except the BS that game devs hand out these days.

there is a such think as battlefield play4free but it's probably shitty and you don't play fps
the real version of battlefield 3 is free (somebody posted a code elsewhere) but it's on origin only
you should play path of exile
it's basically everything good about d2 but with awesome improvements
it's what d3 should have been
