Prey 2 has reportedly been shifted to Dishonored developer Arkane. A report on Kotaku suggests that following its original development at Human Head Studios, the game has now shifted to Arkane’s Austin studio and was also allegedly worked on by Fallout: New Vegas developers Obsidian, and also offered to Rogue Warrior studio Rebellion.

The report suggests that Obsidian worked on the game for “at least a few months” and that Bethesda was trying to “convince Arkane to work on the game” during that time. Arkane is said to be “scrapping all the work that Human Head has done and starting from scratch, with a targeted release date of late 2016.”

“Arkane Austin are upset about this decision,” the report says, “but higher-ups at the company are telling the team to forget that it's called Prey 2 and just treat it like a new System Shock.”

Most games offer pre-order content upon or even after launch, but EA is tempting Battlefield 4 players to pre-order with some more immediate gratification: bonuses for Battlefield 3. The "Air Vehicles Shortcut Kit" unlocks two aircraft without all that pesky waiting and earning.

The kit is exclusive to GameStop (via VG247), and requires a PowerUp membership. It will be available through August 19. The Shortcut Kit offers immediate unlocks for the jet and helicopter, plus a handful of upgrades. This joins China Rising, a multiplayer DLC pack available for all pre-orders.
