Square Enix has revealed a whole raft of upcoming Sleeping Dogs content, all tentatively labelled as 'coming soon', including the previously spotted 'Year of the Snake' DLC, which sees Wei Shen rejoining the Hong Kong police force to tackle a new case following the events of the main game's campaign.

Facing a "vicious end-of-the-world cult" known as the Cult of the Snake, Wei Shen will have to race against time to bring the insane cultists to justice, before they can complete their plan to rid Hong Kong of its so-called 'evils' as they "follow a path of righteous salvation."

Year of the Snake will introduce new weapons including teargas guns and electroshock pistols, as well as new outifts and abilities. It'll be 'coming soon'.

Furthermore, in addition to the recent Movie Masters and Monkey King Packs, available now for 160 MSP apiece, there will also be two more DLC packs incoming.

The Law Enforcer Pack will add two cop outfits, five police vehicles and a new weapon, while the Wheels of Fury Pack gives Wei Shen a Dark Knight style Batmobile prototype created by Dr. Tang called the DZS-90, with new upgrades granted after each mission, making for the ultimate supercar.

Check out screens from each of the upcoming packs below. We'll update with release dates for the upcoming Sleeping Dogs DLC as and when we get them.

There’s a tool to check what games are registered on Steam. Well, it’s mostly reliable and has leaked many games coming to the service.

Furthermore, it looks like there are plenty of new games that could be heading to Steam. People normally use this tool to peek into the Steam database.

Some of them are games we already know like La-Mulana and Resident Evil: Revelations, however, Halo 3 has also been discovered in the database which could mean, Microsoft will start releasing older Xbox 360 games published by Microsoft Game Studios on PC, or Valve is adding support for Steam Community hubs for non-Steam games.

Here’s the listing for Halo 3 (via GAF). You can find the complete list of all the games that have been found so far below, and plenty of them are already confirmed to be heading to Steam. Games like Fez are obvious because if you’re going to release it on the PS3, it should also be released on the PC.

La-Mulana
The Splatters
Octodad: Dadliest Catch Beta
Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition (Duke Nukem 3D+)
Super House of Dead Ninjas
Fez
LucasArts Test App
Fast and Furious 6
Lococycle
Yogventures!
Hardware
Hardware (Demo)
Dyad
Cut the Rope
Shadow Warrior Complete
Hardware (VIP)
Hardware (Internal)
THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII
Retro/Grade
Resident Evil: Revelations
THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002 UNLIMITED MATCH
THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’98 ULTIMATE MATCH
Quantum Conundrum 2
Halo 3
Halo 2
Halo: Combat Evolved
The Witness
Angry Birds Space
Angry Birds Seasons
Second Life

Has something gone wrong or Halo 3 is indeed coming to the PC? Well, we know for a fact that earlier Microsoft was planning to monetize Steam, so time will tell, but for now there’s hope considering this Steam database tool has been mostly accurate.

Crytek: Crysis 4 might not be an FPS

After the glossy trilogy’s completion, Crytek could explore other genres for the Crysis franchise. Speaking to Dusty Cartridge, Crytek Producer Michael Read said he believed the don’t-call-it-Crysis-4 sequel would keep the saga going, but not necessarily as a shooter.

“I think the Crysis franchise itself has life left in it,” Read said. “Whether it’s in a different game type format or whether it’s expanding upon this, it’s hard to say. That’s going to be up to the designers at the end of the day. Crysis was always intended to be a trilogy, and I think that over that time we’ve built a really cool universe. We haven’t really gone in and said, ‘Hey, let’s put Nanosuits and clown suits and stuff and completely violate and sell our IP.’ We have a lot more life left in that to go back and try some unique stuff. Whether it’s FPS or not I have no idea, but there’s definitely a future in the franchise.”

Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli’s dedication to solidifying a free-to-play version of Crysis might hint at future releases incorporating similar business models, but the studio hasn’t elaborated on its actual design plans. So long as I’m able to continually bewilder Tyler with nothing but an overgrown lawn, I’m up for anything.
