Gearbox has confirmed the name of Borderlands 2’s second downloadable content pack. As revealed by Gearbox’s Echo Casts Twitter account, the pack will be called Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage -- just as a leaked trophy list suggested last month.
The Echo Casts account was previously used to tease the downloadable Mechromancer class released in October, but has since been taken over by Mr. Torgue, who asks fans if they’re “ready to blow sh*t up” and if they’re “badass enough” to survive his campaign. Gearbox also released a single screenshot of Torgue.
Torgue, of course, refers to one of Borderlands 2's many weapons manufacturers. An expansion involving Torgue was first hinted at by developer resumes back in September and will follow Borderlands 2’s first expansion, Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, which was released last month.
