I think journalists are trying to show that they have integrity with reviews like these.

Look at MoH and RE4, games in years past would be 9+/10, or at least 7/8 in MoH's case. Now are just getting destroyed.

The problem with credibility is, if you lose it almost impossible to get back.

All I see is a lot of campaigns but none that are good, over the top prompts telling you how to play beginning to end, lots of ridiculous combat (almost all the melee is over powered 3 hit combo and zombie heads go pop) ... skill points.... over abundance of healing items....

resident evil, one of the old daddies of survival horror, has not been able to make a survival horror game since RE3 or REMake.

Ada's campaign is pretty good. It seems to be closer to old-school RE than the others.

adds on the single player that I never beat...
