Paying blizzard $60 (or more) to fuck you with always on drm and rmah not to even mention casualsized, lowest common denominator game play, and graphics from 2006.
Blizzard spins it and says its to protect the experience of the game
You guys buy it anyways
Can't log in for a whole day, tons of downtime, and hackers fuck you anyways
I seriously can't make this shit up. Its like the old republic all over again, my sides.
But seriously thanks guys, because all you guys blindly bought that shit now the industry is gonna get even worse. This is gonna be the norm.
Rant Over. My bad guys.
The game is legitimately fun, whether or not it was
casualized. Hell D2 was casualized by dupes and bots and this awful fucking site. Imagine playing d2 without everyone having enigma and most of the runewords in general. It would be a lot different. That's basically what they did with diablo 3. They've put these great items in the game but made them HARD to find. Listen to all of the complaints from shaft about how unrewarding hell is. No legendarys booohooooo. That's not casualization, you actually have to be good and invest time to EARN your gear. And for everyone else there's mastercard. Next, Diablo 3's story, lore, and cinematics exceed the whole pc gaming industry in every way. I think what Blizzard did with diablo 3 wasn't casualization, it was just making it more accessible. Maxed out- the game looks perfectly fine. Nothing ground breaking but at the same time I don't feel like I'm playing anything from 2005. However, with so many people being able to play the game, they setup the multiplayer to allow the most FUN possible. And really, how many games have had a perfect launch? The game hasn't been out a week yet...how perfect can you expect it to be?
