During PAX East this weekend, Gearbox Software revealed a new class for Borderlands 2. Called the Mechromancer, the character will be a mix of human and machine and will be able to control D374-TP (Deathtrap) robots.

The Mechromancer will be available after the launch of the game as downloadable content. Gearbox plans to make the content free to players who pre-order the game, and available at a price "comparable to most DLC" for other players
