The developer goes on to confirm the contents of the demo. It will contain both single- and multiplayer modes.

The single-player options serves up "roughly 1 to 2 hours of content" in two areas; "The opening level featuring the Reaper attack on Earth, and a level further into the game where Shepard travels to an alien home world to seek their assistance in the war effort", explains BioWare.

The co-op multiplayer portion gives you two maps, Slum and Noveria, and opens to all players on February 17. However, those who own Battlefield 3 and have activated BF3's Online Pass code will gain early access to this mode on February 14 by logging in with the same EA Origin account.

shits gonna flop in the NA, people were saying the same shit about aion and look where it's at now. it's going F2P soon, or at least it already is in some limited form of f2p i think.

Tera will be just like Aion and Lineage 2 which were huge grind fests. Sorry but the asian mmo style doesn't succeed in NA.

Right: tera did not do well in korea/japan. They got explosive sales with 850k in korea but in 6 months subs just died off because 1) not enough grind for their taste 2) no endgame content. What does this sound like.... Star Wars: The Old Republic. Yet the comparison is not made because SWToR is STAR WARS ZOMG!!! But Tera offers something new... the not fucking dated as shit combat, and graphics that somewhat resemble a game made recently.


Wrong: RedTea..... seriously....... /sigh. The grind was TOO little for the koreans, and it is not a grind at all, it is IN LINE with your typical MMO now. Difference? Not based off an ancient percentage base rng system, the player dodges and aims, not some static percent.

We'll see when it is released.

NN seeing when released when the north american forums have ktera and jtera players who can attest to this.

Its true, it was made in Korea with their Aesthetic but with our gameplay in mind. The Koreans ditched it because they love to grind on the same mobs for hours to level, instead of doing a mix of questing/grinding....for some reason they think that is fun.

But what I like about it is the gameplay is completely skill based, looks like a lot of fun. Just watch some pvp videos and you will see what I'm talking about.

The other interesting things are the political system looks really interesting. Your guild can control a region of the gameworld either by gaining a popular vote, or taking control of it by war. When a guild challenges the reigning guild, the two are forced into a 24 hour battle for the area, most kills wins. I watched a couple videos on this, was nuts like hundreds of people battling it out, looked sick.



Do I care if it flops? Hell ToR is looking like it flopped in less than a month, or in the process of a massive flop.
I will still enjoy the game whether it does good or not, and if it eventually goes f2p that is fine as well.

I do think that monthly subscription is bull shit though, bringing that up and you are just preaching to the choir on that one.
