What do you so with the extra parts?

What I don't understand is why you would upgrade immediately after building the PC. Either wait and buy it all once or upgrade the whole system later after enjoying it. To buy something then upgrade it two months later is throwing money away. Make your money work for you girlfriend.

new rog build

broke the rog case by bad judgment cut off a wire for rgb panel i lnstead of fan that was zip tied to case and returned motherboard and decided to go msi route or just upgrade my current pc

Nice pc. Can't believe we're up to 5GHz processors now. I remember when the first gig dropped with the Pentium 3.
