even if it runs it will still produce additional heat....
fact is your system isn't utilizing the full 750 watts.
Do you even know how a psu works?

Duhhh

UMMM what? You're giving advice on a build yet you're too fucking poor to afford one GPU.

Also see second part for wtf part 2... how many build guide videos do you watch a day LOLOL.

No one that builds a serious water cooled PC decides to buy old out dated and out paced AMD parts. I really do not understand why people recommend old shit when the OP clearly stated his budget isn't peasantry level shit.

Entitled much?

I'm not entitled, I've actually built HIGH end pcs for myself... You're just googling the first thing that comes up and running your mouth about things you don't understand. And if you haven't used a PC that consumes 800+ watts actively then you really do not understand how much heat gets pushed out.

first you call it a gpu not a psu
secondly you compare no gpu system at 50$ a month to a multi gpu system with no reference in price....
fuck your dense.

I'm aware, I used to run three desktops each with a 970 and old 27" LCD monitors. It did heat my place up. I have my AC set at 60. It was usually about 70 though.

If your budget is 4-5k and you have limited technical knowledge, just buy a prebuilt from CyberPowerPC for a deal price, a nice monitor, peripherals, and a really good warranty.

Any PC with about an i5-9600k or better, 16gb+ of ram, and SSD is fine for all games. Just buy the GPU separate that fits your needs. It's the most expensive part.

You could get a cheaper mobo.
You could get a cheaper case.
Over 50% of the cost is the GPU.

The i9-9900k is amazing for multitasking aka lots of programs open at once or VMs, but it costs twice as much as an i5-9600K.

The GPU you could probably get on sale for under $1000 if you felt like waiting for months. But EVGA, the brand I recommend by far over any other, costs about $1200. EVGA usually has the best prices: https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=11G-P4-2382-KR

9700/9900k with a 2080 ti under water will serve your needs for a good while.

This would be a well thought out build. The PSU can be changed around a bit and you could do custom sleeved cables down the road more tailored to a theme you may want. Storage is personal preference, they all are relatively the same grade now. The fans you can change around to be a little less etc.
