i5-3570K? Let us say the ambient temps are 16C. Say you get 65C on Prime at 4.5GHz. You lap and it goes down to 50-55C. You delid and it drops to 35-40C. You use Indigo Xtreme or the like and it drops even further. (Depending on ambient, etc.) [Not all experiences are the same] {you get the idea}

@BS Which did you prefer in terms of temps. IE or CLU?

NM. I remember you saying you preferred CLU over IE and I just read that IE leaves some funky marks on the CPU.

Going up in 10s and then 5s see how far you can get your core clock. That is without raising voltage. Then slowly raise your memory block until it starts to BSOD. When you have both a good amount and no artifacting or BSOD, then you can find tune it with voltage. Mind you this is all while you are monitor your temperatures. That GPU is good even around 90. The VRM should be about 110 but keep it around ~70-80 or higher if you ever WC it. It's max temp it 100C so make sure you don't even creep near that. As long as temps are good and things are stable you can raise voltages and clocks as much as you want. OC does degrade the life of the hardware but it's dependent of who made it, the parts they used, and how hard you run it, in what conditions you design.

I might try to OC tonight for 5GHz and a heavy GPU clock. :evil:

Oh and the first part of my new PC came in. i7-4930K.

Anyone have an suggestion if it would even be a good idea to change from a Corsair 500r case to a Corsair 540?
I dislike the idea of having a full tower (height) or really anything higher then my current case/
240 or 280 rad on top
240 or 280 or 360 rad in front
Would be doing true water-cooling
Case would probably be set on it's side with the side panel facing up.
