hait to admit crysis2 is good
cuz u hated on it so much
I have no idea what you just tried to say.
But I will say a few things about Crysis 2.
Some parts were very enjoyable, actually. But then they tried too hard to be cool, or intense, or over the top or something. They were trying too hard.
The lighting engine is pretty good, but that's nothing special considering it's CE3.
The guns look and feel like toys. They sound pretty bad, too.
The game was extremely predictable, increasingly towards the end.
It was "artificially" lengthened by you having to do
just one more thing and SHOCKING something goes wrong at the end, so you have to do another one more thing.
The AI was pretty dumb, even on hard.
The Ceph were dumb, but they took a lot of bullets to take down, unless you got a headshot, which was kind of hard to do with the clunky controls.
They did improve the functionality of the suit, but it wasn't anything dramatic. I've been playing Crysis 1 recently, and I got back into the way the suit modes are switched pretty much instantly.
Also, just to nit pick, I'll throw in some other things I didn't like but shouldn't really be counted because they're not gameplay stuff. For the most part.
Scripted events. WAY TOO MANY. Is this fucking MW2 or something? I don't know what's worse, the scripted events or the forced slo-mo.
No built-in advanced graphics settings. You had a preset, and that is it. Fucking console port.
Way too much blur and added effects that don't look very good layered onto each other. The Advanced (High) preset looks better than the Hardcore (highest) preset. That's bad.
55 FOV is so consolized. Not even funny. I had to use a program to fix that. 55 FOV gives me motion sickness.
It was a shitty game with some (read
very little) good parts. Most definitely not worth $60.
