Why not? Insanely cheaper and easier than a custom water cooling and does a phenomenal job on keeping temps down

GPU crashes

Had this fucker running for like 2 hours before hand, plus a bunch of 30 minute shots before hand just to make sure nothing happened. And of course it does now. I’m so over this

Think it’s the GPU overheating. Finally got it started up and was idling at 88c, after several minutes it’s sitting at 70c. Clearly too high, gonna have to re do it again in a few days whenever I’m home again.

5800x will be the death of me

Just thinking about how all those motherboard fan connectors have fan speed settings in the BIOS.

This was happening with all the fans at full blast

I usually disable all those fan things in the BIOS, then again, I only have a Hyper 212 EVO plugged into the motherboard.


The reason I mentioned it was... maybe the fan curves in the BIOS are backwards for some reason? Like set so the hotter the card gets the "slower" the fans go?

I’ll check again thanks for the input. At this point I’ll try anything before I toss this fucker out the window.
