Dude if you can build cars, you can build a PC. Take it from someone who's done a lot of both.

look at that overpriced dumpster fire
all u need op is to buy r7 240 and i5-8400 spend rest on 150tbs of storage

GPT only supports up to 128 partitions.
That is: ~1.17 partitions per ~1TB of storage.

What a total waste.

You'd be better off paying for performance and durability and using a superior 128GB SSD-based storage medium device.

SLI is going away as far as support for games go and at that point you're barely out pacing a 2080 ti with a lot more heat and power usage..

So... Basically you drop the $200 USD/mo. electric bill for the space heater?

A 2080 ti barely outpaces two CF $300 Vega 56's (two Vega 64's beat it). I could use 4 Vega 46 in CF and it would still cost less than a 2080 ti. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsIl-0HDuTM

SLI will not go away because VR Gaming benefits hugely and there are many CAD Workstations that require it. The only thing that might go away is nVidia's SLI driver support for traditional games and SLI hardware support for gaming GPU's because nVidia is extremely greedy.

If I ever upgrade my PC, I will be using Acer's 4k 144hz monitor.

SLI is already being phasing out of games.. Nvidia themselves are trying to kill it off hence taking away 3 and 4 way SLI. As for xfiring toasters that draw way too much power, go for it. You're going to be spending about 600 more on top of the 1200 dollars to keep those turds cool. Not to mention all the issues that come with a 4 way setup. Good luck running 4k 144 without flag ship cards on new titles 🙂

Good come back to exactly what I posted. How much experience do you have using SLI/Xfire cause it's apparent you've never used either. Let alone a custom loop in which the OP doesn't want some peasant level AMD garbage. 295w TDP cards on AMD side. So let's do some basic maths here. 2x295 = 590w... now lets double that for fun sake... wewwwwwwwwwwww at 1180w of power. Not only is that going to heat the ever living fuck out of someone's house, but dude's gonna need a 1600w psu at the least and hope his wiring in the house/apt is sufficient to run that without tripping breakers.

Do what you know and stick to overpricing garbage D2 items, cause this aint it chief.

I am currently running an EVGA B3 750w PSU with no GPU 24/7 and my AC has been set to 60. My power bill was like $19 this month. In the dead of July, it's only like $50. That same GPU would easily run two Vega 56, my i7-6700, and everything else.

even if it runs it will still produce additional heat....
fact is your system isn't utilizing the full 750 watts.
Do you even know how a psu works?

UMMM what? You're giving advice on a build yet you're too fucking poor to afford one GPU.

Also see second part for wtf part 2... how many build guide videos do you watch a day LOLOL.

No one that builds a serious water cooled PC decides to buy old out dated and out paced AMD parts. I really do not understand why people recommend old shit when the OP clearly stated his budget isn't peasantry level shit.
