nope, you can lock users so they show up on bottom right if in same realm as you. and there is guild. thats about it

not really. u cant type /f list like on d2 or other games.
All you can do is when you are next to a friend, click his name and choose "lock"
then you can see his name highlighted when you are in the same area as him, like this:
