Yeah, but you don't really risk the chance of losing that perfect item for nothing, so it retains its value, I mean it's really all up to the player but I was personally just curious

after spending 14 life potions, 25def potions, tons of another potions to max a char, why use crap gear? the dps doesnt take monster defense in consideration, the difference is higher than it seems to be(even higher in bosses).

itz like this. Once you fully max a characters its always worth it to wear an ammy. Since you are already wearing an ammy why not wear the best gears in the game

I understand it with an ammy, I mean that makes sense, I'm really just talking about running around with 40+def gear for little to no gain
