how do people get good at this

it's a bitch to find stat potions, and you need good gear/stats to find good gear

i got lucky and someone gave me some good stuff that's like tier 8 equipment for knights but i still die too fast to be able to farm anything. i can kill some of the smaller gods like the cthulu looking one and beholder, but i have to go back to nexus after killing like 5 or 6 of them and that's only if i dont run into some giant mob of djinns and slime gods or something

The short range chars seem like they'll be more useful after stat pots are invested.

If you want to hunt stat pots out in the god-lands, you'll probably want a archer/huntress/wizard/necro, the longer range is nice, with lvl 20 base stats and some mid-tier gear it's not too difficult to dance around their shots and pick them off at a range, I suggest getting used to fighting while running backwards.

Other chars can do it too, those are just the most useful ones i've found.. Rogue is kinda nice also, if you're feeling sneaky.

A big part of it is just getting used to how the gods attack, once you figure them out, it's not terribly difficult.

the only ones i can strafe around are medusas cyclops and beholders, and they're almost always in like these giant packs with a bunch of other shit

and i'll try an archer i guess, but i already have my gosu knight @ level 20 and he's all decked out. do i have to start over if i want to farm pots with a huntress or something

You could buy extra char slots with real $, or you have the option to make a new account with a different email.

As for strafing, it's an entirely different play style with a medium/long range char vs. a short range.

Don't be discouraged by death though, it's the fate of EVERY character to die, even the maxed out 6/6 top tiered chars will all die in the end.
The question is, will you be able to profit enough off a char before it dies to work your way up? With practice, you can.



What tier of items are you trying to get?

I'm using all of my stat pots as I get them, heh.
