daily quest faq on kabam forums:

Q: Can I stockpile tokens over time?

A: No. There are a few specific rules regarding Tokens:
- Tokens are currently only available through Daily Quests and the Tinkerer.
- Initially, Daily Quests and The Alchemist will only be "LIVE" for a few days at a time.
- When The Alchemist game is over, you will not be able to use any saved tokens. They will reset to 0 when the next Alchemist Game is available.
- The Daily Quests will end 24 hours before The Alchemist Game ends. This will provide everyone a 24 hour window to spend their remaining tokens.
- The MAXIMUM amount of tokens that you can carry around is 10.


but now the alchemist is gone before the tinkerer...
