hey guys i need some advice, i have a rogue that is almost 4/8 ( att dex def maxed spd is 5 pots off ) i want to start farming higher tiered items or pots but rogue is OK in glands and im a bit too inexperienced ( and a little bitch ) to be running abby or other dungeons while cloaking.
are there any good videos where i can learn to rush dungeons on a rogue or some sort of a guide? most of the stuff i find on google is not that helpful.
Thanks in advance =D
Tips for rushing:
1. Don't rush dungeons until you've crawled through them a few times and really understand everything. There will be times when rushing that you have to clear a room or two or get in a jam and this will help you get back to a safe point. It will also allow you to rush on things other than rogue.
2. Like bigfoxx said hit up youtube 'rotmg whateverdungeon,' but experience will always be king. This goes back to tip 1 of going slow and building up to rushing.
General new to dungeon or area or boss tips as rogue:
1. Be quick to stealth. If you are alone you don't need to worry about going fast. So sit back and regen mana and cloak often.
2. Focus more on attack patterns than how much damage you are doing. Once you understand each fight, figuring out how to do as much damage as quickly as possible will come naturally.
As for rogues vs other classes:
In my opinion Rogues are best for learning dungeons. Its what I learned the most on and Im a little bitch too.
ONLY when soloing is it the best tho. Cloak allows you to go at your own pace, back off when needed without nexusing, and allow you to completely skip mechanics you don't quite understand yet. And I feel like the medium range is best for learning attack patterns since you are close enough to see everything, but have an option to back off easier than melee during certain attacks.
Again this really only applies to soloing. In group more range is easier to learn with, but you don't learn as fast its more of getting carried through and eventually you pick up things as you go. Also I still think recommending a higher ranged class for learning godlands is fine. Because its such a long repetitive grind to get started, you'll get comfortable with the patterns no matter what range you are at.
