I just discovered - quite by accident - that mule accounts can easily be snagged if the account has not yet been verified.
Made a new email address so I could make a new RotMG account. Make a new account and go to register it. "Account already exists. Forgot password?"
Receive new password. Log into account. Just did this and got an account with 131 fame and a few T4 abilities/T8-T9 weapons/armors.

Id say you got pretty lucky...I mean its not like I can get the email "Tony@gmail.com" and try to recover people who maybe used the email (not that I would even try). Countless numbers of emails for people to randomly put in, and I am sure the majority are taken.

Once I created the email address I assumed it would be impossible for the actual account owner to recover the account (though I think I was wrong about that).

Yeah, I just got really lucky with the email address creation (NPExperience@gmail.com).
And yes, obviously I wasn't trying this with cruel intentions. It was pretty coincidental.
