Wow. I made a comment earlier explaining how I don't mind gold because it doesn't really give a huge advantage (spending money to have the upper-hand). I completely retract that now. Unless you can buy loot tier potions with fame. And I don't think I've seen them in the Nexus. It's not a big deal though. To be expected. Everybody's gotta make their money.

Also, how much life should i sell it for.

What are your current stats?
It is worth 4 or 5 life. Or... anywhere from 20 def to 30 def. If you could get 25-30 def out of it, I would highly recommend doing so.
After typing all of that out, I realized you probably already had defense maxed. So my first question is all that's really important out of these three lines of text.
