Diablo 2 is my favorite game of all time and yes its near perfect.
But diablo 4 has ton of potential the skills tree Is already better then d2 and d3.
World bosses and public event are a lot of run if they focus on that it can easily beat d2 endgame.

And if they add pvp arena like they were supposed to in diablo 3 I think we can have a solid contender.

Time will tell so far I really enjoyed the beta but dungeons were boring AF

D2 doesn’t have a real endgame. The game has been set to follow this exact build get enigma and run Baal or mesh until new season

I'd say the endgame would be to reach level 99 and even harder on HC.

D3 endgame was even worst phishing grift to level your jewel and rinse and repeat.
In my opinion meph , chaos, baal run were better but that's my opinion

Because they live in the past pretty much every ARPG game will be online now.
It's easier to update the game and make cheating harder you can fix a exploit right away when it's online gameplay.

I'm a hardcore diablo player and played every diablo game and offline play was never a big deal for me in fact when they removed trading I pretty much left diablo.

There's nothing more frustrating then finding a perfect wand but you can't do anything with it because you hate caster and don't play them.

I posted that about his statment on lv99 hc end game and thats about Diablo 2 and Diablo 2 have singleplayer. D3 doesn't have open trading so i couldn't comment on that game.

Franky we get it. You love trading.
D2R is still here and not changing. You will have another 20+ years to trade with the bots that will be playing.

If d4 has good end game itemization, not even as good as d2, just good on its own, and good PVP, this game will kill d2r.

I think it has already. D2 has maybe 5k player base of diehards
