I have countless hours on my level 100 druid spent advertising JSPs epic level of gaming efficiency. Several dozen DMs to users since playing D4 on Blizzards app detailing all the fantastic things a user of JSP is capable of doing once becoming a member. Hundreds and hundreds of them if we go back into D2R times (all through blizzards chat system)

Nothing has happened to me yet. And odds are nothing ever will. I am almost 1000% confident in the fact your friend isn't as innocent as he wishes you to believe he is.

So because it hasn’t happened to you, it cannot happen to someone else? He also openly and frequently talked about trading on jsp. Again, I invited you in this conversation and in pms to judge the evidence for yourself. If you’re a reasonable fellow, you can come to your own conclusion from the screenshots, etc.

Screenshots of conversations mean nothing to me because they still only tell whatever part of the story the user who made them wishes to share. Its not a complete retelling of the actual story of what happened.

I am telling you I have LITERAL YEARS worth of conversations had in Bnet games, THOUSANDS of PMs sent directly to users I never met before that day (All sent from my name on Battlenets chat systems.) telling them to stop wasting time trading in game for nothing when they can keep the wealth they earn on JSP and use it in any game with a economy in the future they might play.

I even have posted on BNet forums openly admitting to using JSP as far back as diablo 2 non expansion and never have I even received a single warning from them.

These posts where made on the forum for weeks literally starting from the day after they took down the RM auction house in D3 for about 2 months until that game got stale and I stopped giving a shit. Telling users to just come on over to JSP and keep earning meaningful currency that isn't locked to a single game to use.

So I'll reiterate what I said originally, that he was banned for more than he wants to admit to, because it without any doubt wasn't talking about jsp in game for aby amount of time in D4.

I have never NOT told someone about JSP when playing with them. It's about the only reason to farm anything in any game if you don't actively need it. The art of grinding without the intent to unload your hoard of unneeded items/currency here is the practice of futility as far as I am concerned.

I'd bet my actual bank accounts balance against the fact your friend was banned for more than just "talking about JSP".

Because I don't just talk about it, I rave and rant about it and praise its existence as the one thing that saves boring grind-a-thon games from being a fruitless waste of time effort and your hard earned money to buy it in the first place.

my theory is that its hard to ban something the majority uses because you will suffer as well the majority of d2 and d2r players uses jsp, banning it would harm blizzards profits because too big of a percentage would stop playing. for example look at (((countries))) now trying to ban cash, you cant pull shit like that point blank. but you can introduce a new way of paying, subsidize it enough to make it the most convenient method, and then, after the overwhelming majority switches to it, only THEN can you outright say "you know what, we are banning cash"

First year D2R many pple were using maaphaccks to read completely explored maps. Then blizzard found out n Ban many of them, it felt like close to half the pple were banned for map assitsts.

So it’s possible Blizzard will do a mass ban for D2R if they feel like it, if they feel jszp using their game to do fg trades n dolloars trade

go trade in poe for 1 week while mentioning jsp and doing big trades see how long it takes u to get banned.

yeppers ! they are probably looking at jsp from strictly financial perspective, like if they ban for jsp, they lose a lot of players, but if they dont, they also might lose players due to complains about jsp (thats why ggg started banning jsp, cause ppl cried too much). also blizz could just make a shop and use jsp themselves or something...idk if they think of banning jsp as a net gain, they will probably do it i assume

Creating a functioning AH would settle a lot of problems. But theyre not in business in fixing problems, only creating new ones.
