why would exploiting be bannable ? its under the game rules, its not the players fault that the devs are shit at bug fixing, no ?

the harshest acceptable action for someone using exploits would be to get rid of that exploit or sometimes the items created using it if thats possible. but banning someone for being smart enough to abuse the game mechanics...wtf really

I'm still going to go with this assumption. I always made sure to put at least one rare item in each trade with the exception of one trade from a real life friend who traded me no more than 5-10 million to help me reroll an amulet after I reached 0 gold.

as for the exp runs - if they are bannable, I just can't see why they singled me out when I had multiple friends/jsp users in my runs as well as my own Alt account that I was power leveling (which still remains unbanned). None of my mates whom all ran hundreds of demise/blind burrow/eridu runs with me were banned. Nor have I heard of any case of a ban from the several hundreds of people on jsp doing them. I grouped with well over 5-6 dozen people on my grind from 1-100. The only person banned seems to be my hardcore character account. My guess is they are really checking that list for the statue and found the most single bit of correlation to JSP so they took me out.

I've done nothing that any twitch streamer had not done live on stream with the exception of trading. I've even seen streamers trading through Discord servers. And like I said, a few users did message me with something along the lines of "Hey xxxx here from jsp, my such and such vs your fg"

tons of people were banned for buying/selling in game gold. that is most likely the case.

There's a suspicion that being banned is random. Like they have a pool of accounts that can be banned but they only randomly select few of them. That's why in d2r there are select players that got banned by only running trav. Some that run trav 2k to 3k did not get the ban hammer.
