Was doing blind burrow exp runs when I was suddenly kicked off and when attempting to log back in I started receiving "error 52"
Checked my email and found this:


Now, I will tell you that I was #72/1000 according to the Diablo 4 armory page for the Hardcore ladder statue achievement. So this may have brought extra attention to my account.
Here's the only things I can think of.
#1 Ran champion demise degen mode before they nerfed the exp there with a 4 man group and leveled very quickly with random people I found on D2JSP (none of have which been banned) Might I add you that Shroud, and several over ttv streamers also did this same method with tens of thousands of viewers watching them do it.
#2 Traded fg for hundreds of millions of gold on SC
#3 Right before the ban I purchased a complete complete BIS crossbow for 20k FG. I had two level 100 characters on my account that were SC. One was HC which I stopped touching after level 100.

So I'm not sure if trading is out of the mix in this game or not but be VERY CAREFUL with in-game messages. A few people during trades did message me saying "hey xxxx username here"
I always made sure to put a rare in trade when trading for gold. But blizz is def cracking down. Sucks I worked so hard legitimately to hit 100 on HC and was even top 100 players but it is what it is, no unban, no appeal possible.

Violation is game exploitation? Something doesn't add up. Wouldn't the violation be RMT or something along those lines if you suspect it's because of mentioning names and websites? Doesn't sound like they banned for trading/receiving items though.

It's possible for accounts to be auto flagged for doing inhuman behavior (as in playing too much and suspected of botting). In D2R at least there were people who intentionally made the system flag them by doing the same runs repeatedly.

Yea, I have no idea, does not add up to me at all as well. Because I did nothing that every other streamer did not do. Even have clips of me streaming 24-32 hours straight grinding the same content they were doing.

its for RMT i would guess, your flexing who you are in your jsp profile and making trades for FG, super easy for some hater weirdo to snitch on you and them to track you down

There's an argument to be had that it isn't RMT though. Plenty of people have used FG consistently for over an decade without spending a dime. Converting items to fg and vice versa. I don't think that's what he was banned for. The main thing mentioned in the email is cheating, botting, and exploiting game mechanics. Usually emails describing RMT bans have a different header I believe.

whether you buy FG with money or trade for it is completely irrelevant, it says Includes but is not limited to meaning it could be anything else against the TOS besides cheating / botting / exploiting game mechanics. he claims he didn't cheat / bot / do anything against TOS besides trade items for outside game currency, im no detective but there is only 1 thing he did that is against the rules

TBH i did not read the tos, nor do i ever do so for any game. but what I can tell you is that I did not do anything that Shroud, Maximum, Ben_, and dozen of other TTV streamers have NOT done. (4 man splitting champion demise and Ruins of Eridu runs)
It was the fastest exp, around 1.2mil a run. So I figure if I was banned for that, then there should have been several others. I would constantly get messages to do those runs, I advertised on the forums to buy/sell those runs. I don't know. just really don't know, maybe I'll get an answer back and update once they respond to my appeal. I admit, I did purchase hundreds of millions of gold with FG. Maybe around 500million

edit: I honestly believe they did a more thorough investigation for HC players meeting the top 1000 criteria. And yea like you said it's my fault for putting my battletag to flex on my d2jsp profile :/

probably the in game gold trade, they r keeping a close eye on account that has 100s of millions exchange in short period of time. I avoid buying igg for this reason
