Probably one of the most accurate statements here. The game doesn't have the itemization to bring people back every season. That's one of their biggest issues when they start launching seasonal. Diablo 3 itemization wasn't really loved, but they chose a similar formula to that game. Smart loot + legendary affixes that could have just been a bigger more intricate skill tree + upgrade system that potentially makes an item aspect roll worse. There's just so many things wrong with it that you're sick of it after the first play through. Hell I got sick of watching the first playthrough. We've already experienced this type of system before and it was not good for seasonal play.

You should see the complaints from people regarding seasons saying they do not want to re-do the quests, level up, etc, I don't blame them, what's the point, another SSF journey with trash itemization, scaling.. There's not much reason to re-do it, you can tell a lot of these new enjoyers are not much of veterans to the genre which is why they are complaining about seasons, but shit with D2 the ladder resets were fun as hell, I don't think D4 can replicate that in any way shape or form, where's the low level sets, runes, you never get to go back and mf and stomp out bosses because of the scaling, the whole game is ruined in those aspects and that's why seasons don't make any sense, the game is a play through story mode, finish it, log in and toggle between cooldowns in the same looking repitive dungeons til you get bored and say f it, this sucks

I played d3 for exactly two months in 2013 and never touched it again. D4 is easily better than d3 but is still clearly behind d2r in its current state, especially from a loot system perspective.

Well i don't know which is worst d3 or d4, but they both are on it 😆

I'd say D2 is the worst

I can feel you buyers that pay good money to blizzard that you are annoyed, the only money they will see from me is if they make new content/expansions on D2R

Better that it got us in the feels rather than where blizz employees get it nowdays
