your knowledge about d2's history is good, but you have a negative outlook on it which is weird. and use its shortcomings as arguments for d4, which is even more weird

d2's history of bugs make it interesting, but d4's bugs make it a bad game?

i can tell you that when the game was live many of those bugs SUCKED, some were advantageous like Ubers or Grush. the same is true now for D4. some bugs make gameplay worse, some can be used by the player to their advantage.

20+ years later and D4 has flaws. Not hypocrisy, incompetence.
