D2 fans have been wanting a sequel for twenty years and it's still not in development..

D4 does not resemble D1/D2 and therefore it's trash, period.

& it shouldn't just resemble the game, the game should surpass D2R in every aspect, from character building, quality of life improvements, itemization, etc.

Instead D4 comes prepackaged in already existing game mechanics of D3, with gameplay like Diablo Immortal, with mapping like WoW

Zero Innovation, Nothing Inspiring, Poor mechanics, Missing Key Staple Features, i.e. PvP everywhere outside of town, Map Overlay, Trading, Variations of Builds

& to make it worse, No Sword & Shield Warrior/Paladin, the absolute definition of Hack & Slash genre

Face it, Blizzard is so stupid they don't even know the basic fundamentals of what made Diablo one of the greatest games of all-time

This is a step backwards, like multiple steps backwards, it's even worse with a new emphasis of pay 2 play, in game microtransactions, a collector's edition with no game included, list continues to grow!

I tried the beta for 30 minutes and I was like wtf.
This is like every other mobile game last 10 years.

game runs like garbage. - let's be honest here, game could stand to be a bit faster with inter-act waypoint travel.

til D4 comes out, devs crap out some drip feed content til keep old customers on the gameplay loop so they feel inclined to pay 70 bucks later

I'm just going to repeat what happened 10 years ago , play d4, if it's bad I'm going to play PoE 2, then when ggg adds too much crap I'll play D2R. FULL CYCLE
