Soo. You could not explain the "end game" as I thought. And you talk about my mind set. All you seem to do is be on this sub just to trash the game. If someone likes it. There you are trashing. Better if you just stick to D2 and the bots since you hate this soo much

not going to explain it all in detail for you because you have your mind set. but one part of the end-game in d2 is the addicting pve+pvp cycle. that's not in any aRPG on the market today. running a clan, crafting, mfing, low level dueling, public runs, trading, twink chars, intruding, etc.

D3 I had few play through and did few Rifts getting some paragon lvls and have tons of crafting materials salvaged but did Zero crafting because wtf I Quit and Uninstall D3 LOL total of 5 months playing because I thought D3 would be good after D2lod back in 2015ish.

Now D2R once a while I hop on non ladder finally lvled my lvl 94 Sorc did 5x baal runs and that was boring so I join ed public cowruns and soloed player8 Chaos n Baal runs or solo Terror zones got Huge Exp to lvl 94 :D

Mean time finding some nice loot 5-10 fg worth but the possibility of something 100+ fg still there RNG GG loot drop. Use all that for my PvP gears even though havnt PvP in months. But that is the PvE and PvP balance that D2R has D3 does not and D4 trending that way with trading problem and lack of pvp content. B)

The first time someone plays d2 and you see the addiction seep into their blood stream. It’s like a fucking drug. Like yeah bud sorry I just ruined the next few months of your life. But at least we’ll be together lol. Not getting these vibes from d4.

reminds me of when i was 12 and my friend said he'd give me a copy of the game for free. couldn't get a ride over to his house so had to walk with my older friend several miles in the rain to his house. got home and was hyped af. that's where it all began. still remember that moment i saw him killing cows on that old ass CRT monitor with square speakers. my god i wanted to play so bad at that moment. these memories will be with me forever

problem with d3 endgame is it fucking shower you in shit legendary/set items that you scrap 99.99% so it become boring very very fast as you attain a more than ok build too fucking fast then you get bored finding no upgrades... so i do prefer d2 endgame and well d4 just seem to smell of the same crap cake as d3

Same.

I went back and played it more and really came to like it a lot. I leveled a couple characters to 25. I'll be playing it for sure. I guess I just had a negative mindset going in from the start? I wanted it to be bad for some reason? It actually won me over.

d2r will never have more active users than d4, after d4 is released

I'm not entirely sure why this thread exists...this topic has been beat to death. The one thing I dislike about d4 is that if I want to hop into a game and start killing stuff, it takes a lot longer than what I'm used to with d2r.

d4 is not trying to be d2r though

That said, I will still play HC SSF and do SP speedruns (on HC as well) until d4 launch

This thread will probably go on for sometime.

We saw it happen with D3 and D4 appears hardly any different. Within 5 years the majority of the D4 player base will go back to D2R.

D2R is near perfect and with continued updates it will remain the champion of the series.

Prove me wrong.

I highly doubt that most of the D4 player base would consist of active D2R players lol

D2R died before D4 even came out.

No1 is going back to D2R even if D4's a flop, they're going to PoE2 my friend.

you start to sound like me now

however, i do believe d2r will always be where al the yuppy boomers and gen xers get their fix for a month or so on each ladder. although poe 2 will take some of them. d2r is really polished and the original d2 is really hurting now

Yeah, the hype for D4 will die out fast, I think.
