I’ve been opening up the 6x super chests in the 4 buildings around the camp fires. Most of the times it’s an explosion of items, coins, charms, jewels, rings and sometimes it’s just rares or Magic’s. Sometimes only a few Magic’s and a rune ;)

Fck me but iirc it was something like 5 normal popables (corpses, chests, logs) equals 1 super chest in terms of HR drop odds.

I know I probably found more hrs in random poppables than super chests


I started popping corpses, logs, random chests and those stone stacks recently because I watched a video of a Dutch bloke on YouTube. He did 10000 runs and his only Ber wasn’t from a super chest. He also found a lot of Guls and Ist runes from them. I personally haven’t found much besides a pair of Sand Treks and a few Ort/Ral runes but I’ve only been hitting them for 200-300 runs or so

you should only open poppables that are directly on your way or next to the superchests. don't make a detour for poppables. it's not worth it.

i play sorc so i can tele and have a direct path.

yeah i've sone quite a lot over the past few years in single player. didn't count them but i guess ~ 20-25 k. most rewarding area in the game. not only runes but charms and crafting materials in masses...

How many superchests do you open pr. run? And about the paranoia .. Will the Runes always be visable? im so paranoid that i pick up som gold just to check at each chest, costs a lot of time haha

6 of the same super chests per run. If there’s a rune and you’re concentrating you’ll always see an orange flash as you pop them and as you aware sometimes you have to move around a bit or pick up gold/pots to find it with “alt”. It sucks if you blink at the wrong moment or if you’re distracted but otherwise it’s very obvious when a rune drops. Sometimes I’m able to read it before it vanishes amongst the junk. I’ve got both camp fires a few screens away from the wp but I’m able to pick up gems, charms and runes in 30seconds give or take a few seconds
