and they say you're lucky? seems like a lot of mind numbing hours as is.
So far my few puls, ums, mals and a vex seem alright BUT the ohm, surs, bers are killing me to get at the moment, however I can hardly complain considering I have only completed 500-100 runs so far.

3270 runs for 6 surs IS lucky. there are ~ 66000 different patterns for the super chests in lk. 11 of them contain sur runes --> 66000:11=6000 chests to open to get one sur. 6 chest per run --> 1000 runs for 1 sur rune. ofc it's RNG. you could do 10 k runs and be unlucky and find just 3 surs and you can be very lucky like Maldra and find 3 surs in 330 runs (run 1730 - 2064).
pls just don't say things like "they say you're lucky? seems like a lot of mind numbing hours as is" when you don't know the numbers!!!

It’s just an expression mate. Which ever way you look at it, whether you’re lucky or not, mind numbing hours (sometimes soothing and other times frustrating) will be spent trying to make a CTA and an Enigma let alone an infinity or what ever else you’re trying to make which utilise those rare runes... it is what it is. I’ll start tallying my runs from now on anyway.

How do you guys keep a record of your runs?

How the hell did you manage to run LK thousands of times, guys!?

I did 130 runs today (found Pul and Ist btw) and i'm already throwing up as i'm so fckn sick and bored of this place!

I even let my merc fight those bastards in LK from time to time just to do anything but to run constantly between those super coffins there.

I find LK very soothing at times, I think it's the pinacle of how good d2 drop system is.

after 3 years of grinding with my plugy sorc i found all the valuable uniques and runes anyway. so what to do from that point on?
the answer for me:
try to get your hands on the real good stuff like 40+ life skillers; 20 life/ 1- 60+ light dmg sc; +3/10 fcr or 90+ life ammy; 2/20/x/x caster ammys; 6 nado/6 hurricane pelt; jmod/jstod; 6/40 javelins; etc.....

and what do you need to get those???? --> gems, gems and even more gems and jewels for cubing/crafting

so whereas i did lk runs at the start to get my hands on those nigma and infinity runes then finally stopped to do normal mf grinding to get my hands on uniques like griffons, dweb, death fathom, soj and so on, i came back to lk again for those juicy crafting materials and mass of blue items popping out of the chests.
lk is by far the most rewarding area in the game!
