you know, seb, there's a point where a character stops being a walkthrough and starts becoming an actual character. i know it's hc and all, but you didn't exactly walk into a pub baal and get tppk'd.

i think you should just system restore to monday, if that actually works. if not, zonfire it and get a shadow pack and edit the values on a cv cm + eth treachery from it, and keep playing.

everyone wants it.. but everyone knows he's never going to do that
he's gonna start a new one for sure though :3

I appreciate the idea, I would be lying if restoring it didn't cross my mind. It is however something I would never do. If I couldn't stand the death of a char I would play Softcore. Using any program like that is sadly out of the question.

Problem is I don't really know what to play. I want to be able to do Travincal, CS and Baal runs but it's really hard without ladder RWs. It's why I chose the Hammerdin in the first place ^^

EDIT: I mean, if I need to do 10 000 runs of something I will. But if it has no chance of killing stuff even with perfect items there's no point for me. Too many characters rely on Infinity to be able to do any damage to those places and I can't access it.

Remake hammerdin? Zeal is really nice, strong, safe aswell. It can still be strong with mf gear on if you have a nice weapon and maybe Gores.

If all you wanna do is have an easy time and mf, just make hammerdin, sorc, or java. Java runs Pindle with 600+ mf on p8 no prob!

edit/ Bone nec is nice and fast aswell, CE rapes as you know.. make one too haha

Remaking it crossed my mind too. It's not about having an easy time it's about potential really. Getting a strong char. A light sorc will never fully work without Infinity, same with a trapper, same with java.

1000 forum gold might speed things up? *wink wink*

I really had a fun time with a full tal's fireball/orb sorc. And tal armor isn't too rare off of baal if you're planning on running him anyways. Just an idea.

Maybe level as a zealer, it's safer and quicker (at the start anyhow lol). If you like it then stick with it, if not then restat to hdonk again?

Fireball/Orb is so damn slow imo! And I'm not very keen on doing another sorc... HMM.
