Randomly opened the superchest behind Meph...and randomly got a Mal rune!! I will probably use this to make a sanctuary in an Eth troll nest for fun.

Dinged 95. Dumped the 5 pts into strength to get rid of strength SCs. This is my cutoff for finding a Gerke's. I literally went from 94 to 95, and only found a couple of trash Gerke's. It is the central item in this build and I couldn't get a good roll. Oh well. I will use one of the "better" crappy ones I found and make some progress. But first, I will level Merc to 95.



Trying out Travincal with Merc using eth upp'd G angel and non-eth crown of thieves. He is basically invincible to them. But drops are not great.

Wow I can't believe I'm saying this but...NN. Although...I HAVE gotten JAH rune off council a loooong time ago. Hmmm. Should I even bother? Sorc with Enigma?

It's a mid roll Eschuta's for a lightning sorc If I ever become one. But doing so requires tokens...

PROGRESS TIME

OK, time to finish this damn game. Here are my stats with my tank gear. HOTO, Gbane, Mara's, Dungos, Frosties, Treks, Nature's peace, Dwarf star, Shako, and Gerke's.

Can't get to the next FCR break point of 63, but 40 isn't terribly bad. Charms make up FHR/life/res.



25% DR, 41 PDR, 53 MDR. I could easily get that to 100 each but I would lose 4 skills/life/mana/res/DR% (replace shako with circlet of life everlasting and Mara's with amulet of life everlasting). This setup gives me a good balance.



Teleported to the start of the chaos sanctuary. Just want to get this done. First guy (forgot his name, Ventnar's younger cousin).

Infector. Easy.



Lord de Seis last. He was the only slightly challenging one but glacial spike owns the whole game.

He doesn't stand a chance. His lightning hose erases my entire mana globe though, which made me think...with high DR%/PDR/MDR/res, do I really need energy shield?



Killed him so fast I forgot to go to town to put on MF gear. But the drops sucked anyway. I need a token eventually.

Shenk down. He and all his minions were cold immune, but static field and merc made short work of them.



Used the socket quest on my shako, an item which will never leave the helmet slot. Added a SOL for a total of 48 PDR.
